Bahrain developer wins regional award for website
Ithmaar Development Company (IDC) earned regional praise and recognition for the Dilmunia at Bahrain website www.Dilmunia.com when it was presented the 2013 Arabian Property Award.
The Award, which was presented at the International Property Award gala in Dubai, underscores IDC’s long-standing commitment to excellence, particularly with regards to quality. The website, which was named the Best Developer Website – Bahrain, has since also been nominated for the Best Developer Website – International Award.
“I am pleased to note that the Dilmunia at Bahrain website has captured regional attention,” said IDC Chief Executive and Member of the Board, Mohammed Khalil Alsayed. “This award celebrates another success for this pioneering development,” he said.
Dilmunia at Bahrain is a mixed-use project built on a man-made island off the coast of Muharraq. With a unique Health and Wellness anchor, Dilmunia will include residences, hotels, leisure and shopping districts, and provide residents and visitors with hospital facilities, spas and state-of-the-art wellness services in a resort-type environment. Earlier this year (ed note: April 2013), IDC hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the USD1.6 billion project and said it expects infrastructure work, as well as some sub-developments, to be completed in 24 months.
“Designing a website for Dilmunia that not only looked stunning, leveraging their existing brand toolset but that effectively communicated the story of the development’s past, present and future was the key to the successful realisation of this project,” said East Innovations Managing Director, Mark Warman, who developed the website for IDC. “We’re especially proud of the end result, and to have won the 5 Star International Property Award in the Developer Website for Bahrain category is an incredible accolade.”
The prestigious awards, which are open to residential and commercial property professionals from around the globe, celebrate the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry.
